It now feeds on the honey stored by the bee and pupates and emerges as the adult blister beetle . इसके बाद यह मक़्खी द्वारा संचित शहद खाता हे और प्यूपा बन जाने के बाद प्रौढ़ फफोला भृंग बनकर निकल जाता है .

The blister-beetles lay eggs in soil , before the cold weather and the larvae develop slowly , feeding on the eggs of grasshoppers or of Hymenoptera like bees . मादा फफोला भृंग सर्दी आने से पहले मिट्टी में अंडे देती है और लार्वे टिड्डों तथा मक़्खी जैसे हाइमनोप्टेरा के अंडे खाते हुए धीरे धीरे बढ़ते हैं .
